a piece of my mind
at Reaves Gallery
San Francisco
> about the gallery

"a piece of my mind " - 9 puzzling pieces totaling 7' x 7' that define and illustrate the brain in a whimsical, playful, cognac fashion.
"my grain" - is an hour glass reflection of how the brain develops over time.
"mind, all mine" - plate 101 labels the brain and its properties.

These works combined research from textbooks, images, and charts from the 1900's to recreate my interpretation of the brain. The pieces were inspired by a vision i had while living in a jungle in Southeast Asia. The series layers truth, play, and science... a balance of reality.

ride green green ride - an installation

The "Ride Green/Green Ride" installation used recycled bikes accumulated primarily through donation. The installation was located outside Reaves Gallery in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. In addition, satellite bikes were posted at various nearby locations including in some local stores and at the Civic Center. There were a total of 77 bicycles, all numbered.

The Installation was in Association with Reaves Gallery, a participant of Rebar's PARK(ing) Day.
